            <description><![CDATA[<p>Since my webhosting service is now providing a blog opportunity separate from my "news" page, I thought I might put something out there and see if there is any interest.</p><br /><p>&nbsp;</p><br /><p>My interests are wide-ranging.&nbsp; Besides music of many flavors and teaching, I am currently obsessed with how each of us might impact any of the "Big Issues" of the day on a personal level.&nbsp; The environment, the economy, the fate of people in the developing world.&nbsp; The future of music on any number of levels:&nbsp; distribution, copyright issues, the future of live performance, etc.</p><br /><p>&nbsp;</p><br /><p>Partly this is sparked by the book/website "<a href="http://www.worldchanging.org">Worldchanging</a>" edited by Alex Steffen.&nbsp; A fascinating collection of descriptions and essays about movements throughout the world to bring about environmental, economic and social change.&nbsp;</p><br /><p>&nbsp;</p><br /><p>Any interest?&nbsp;</p>]]></description>
